Trip Itinerary:

Days 1-5 Athens/ Tinos

Arrive in Athens

Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Tour Acropolis. Take a ferry from Athens to Tinos to hike along small village paths, hike to Pygros, enjoy the marble village, and hike down to the beach at Livada for a swim.

Days 6-8 Naxos / Mount Zas / Kato

Naxos Town

Cross the blue Aegean by ferry and reach Naxos. Explore the old Naxos' districts above the modern town.

Mount Zas

Hike a path up Mount Zas. Enjoy the view atop the peak, eat lunch and return to Naxos Town later in the afternoon.

Kastro

Visit Tsikalario, see an ancient cemetery from Mycenaean period. Continue to Apano Kastro, explore the fortress built by the Venetians. Head down to Potamia. Transfer back to Naxos for lunch and a guided tour of Old Town. Visit medieval castle Kato Kastro and the famous Portara Temple.

Days 9-13

Amorgos

Visit the local archeological museum. Take a ferry to Amorgos, stopping at several islands on the way. Stay in the ancient village of Tholaria.

Panagia Panohoriani

Hike Panohoriani up to Stavros to the Agios monastery. Descend through Langada and to the beach for a swim.

Langada

Hike to Mt. Krikelos to find the ruins of one of the oldest windmills of Cyclades. Enjoy coffee in Langada then to the beach of Levrossos.

Amorgos Town

Hike a trail to gain views of the blue Aegean and to a white monastery. Finish the hike to Amorgos's old town Hora.
